Default E-Type Series 2 1970 Fuel Pump

Hey, I'm a newbie so take it easy on me! I have a 1970 Series 2 E-Type. I have what seems to be a new-ish Holley fuel pump ...and it is VERY VERY noisy. I noticed it was installed with one nut and bolt, washers and what I guess is a wire providing the positive feed to the pump. I may replace it with the SU as it is only $175....but is that any quieter? OR maybe I can buy some sponge material and put it between the pump base and the Jag body...ensuring that the pump is still grounded on the underside. But I think this will not provide enough isolation and it will still be noisy. Any ideas?

Yup, new. This is the X Type (X400) forum. Try the correct one for help.
