Default Electrical Tap for rear seat heaters

I am adding seat heaters to my rear seats. I have the pads put on, the leather put back on the seats, and the button locations picked out. What I am still trying to figure out is where to tap into the electrical circuit.

I have attached two (not so good--phone camera) photos of both left and right doors with the wires exposed. The blue and green connectors go to the back trunk. There are some accessory outputs that I think I could use, but I don't know which wires are which outputs.

The floor laid wires are accessible, but which ones should I use?

I should note that I have a 10 amp fuse inline with each seat kit (L,R), and that brass colored bolt sticking up close to the wrapped wires is where I plan to connect the ground wires. The black ball cap next to the bolt goes on top to prevent wire chaffing.

I can run the wires to the front if need be.

Help is appreciated.

When I fitted heaters to my rear seats, I took the power supply from the spare accessory connector in the trunk. It's in the rear driver's side corner, further back than the CD changer, amplifier, satnav stack, clipped to the bodywork, behind the trim panel. There are three wires - Black is ground, Brown is battery Live, through F19, 30A in the Glove Box Fuse Box and Brown/Green is switched Live. The switched live will only work if a relay is fitted in slot R2 in the Glove Box Fuse Box plus F4, 20A, also in the Glove Box FP

Hi Astromorg,

That back accessory connector is what I was looking for. Can't believe I missed it! It looks to be a 15A circuit though through F28 no? I have two 10 amp kits, and am worried the 15A won't be enough. Are your kits lower?

Thanks.

No, F28 is for the battery supply to the Cabin Accessory Connector, up behind the glove box

You want the ignition switched supply in the trunk as I described - Relay R4 and Fuse F4, 20A in the output from that relay. That should be sufficient for your needs.

OK, looking in the back.

Thanks again.
