hi guys,Q is the engine wiring harness on the 2.5 and 3.0 2002 x types the same and if not what is the differents thanks

 

Morjags, I don't have a clue about similarity nor difference. You'll need one of the Techs or parts guys to answer that one. But, I didn't want you to think nobody was going to answer...

 

All of the electrical schematics and drawings for the 2002 X-type in JTIS are for 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0L. I'd say the engine harnesses are the same.

 

Wouldnt have thought the 2.0 would be the same as the AWD, anumber JTIS procedures have seperate sections for sensors/componentsetcfor the 2.0 and different for AWD.
Ill have a look at my EPC and see if I can get the harness part numbers.

 

thanks buckmr2, i have the 2.5 x type 2002 sport and i think the engine harness is the fault so i am looking for a harness .i see a white with blue stiped wire ,it was riped out at one time can you see were its for and what pin it is for on the ecu socket ,dis would help me out alot so i can get back on the road...thanks morjags
