Hi everyone,

I bought my first Jag 3 days ago. It is a 2007 X Type 3.0 AWD. Love the car, it is a tank in the snow! Unfortunately the car started jerking and the check engine light came on. I got code P2635. Since this is an old post has anyone come up with an economical fix for the problem? If not, approximately how much does the fix cost and can I do it myself?

Thanks in advance.

I have noticed this too when I am going a good speed and press the gas to pass someone, the car slows down instead of speeding up and downshifts or something. It freaked me out a couple times. I changed the fuel filter today though and noticed the car is running a lot better and I can feel a better fuel flow to the engine when I drive if that makes any sense. Haven't had tried passing anyone yet but the fuel filter was probably the issue... it was really ready for a new one.

Hi 04xtype04. How much did that cost you and did you do it yourself?

I was puzzled where a Chelsea supporter had found the snow so I checked your IP Address and found your 'Brampton' is in Canada and not in Yorkshire!
