The orange light on my 2012 2.2 XF came on a few weeks ago and the roadside assistance guy said it was the "exhaust gas recirculation valve sticking" and he reset it with his laptop. It has now come on again but I am unable to get the vehicle to a garage or get roadside assistance out until the end of the week. Is it ok to carry on using the vehicle?

 

Maybe posting in the XF section would get you a more appropriate answer ?
