Default Engine missing

I have a 2004 Jag Xtype, with a little over 100,000 miles. I was running very well. Occasionally, the check engine light indicated lean fuel mixture. Mechanic put in new 100,000-mile spark plugs recently. Immediately thereafter, car started missing badly or "bucking" when driving up incline, or RPMs less than 2000. I had not done that before plugs changed. Any ideas what is causing that?

What DTCs are stored in the system?

Is the MIL on or flashing?
