Just a thought..

Try disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes..Be prepared to have unlock code for radio though and auto windows will have to relearn themselves too.

no this is not stupid becouse it hapend on my jag all interior lights and the A/C fan are connected with one fuse ander the dash bord
i had to change it ones and i was so afrad , i think it's very stupid from jaguar to connect those to things with one fuse.
