Recently 96KM serviced my 2003 X-Type 2.5.

I reported that my car wouldn't re-start 9/10 times after turning off the engine for up to 30 minutes. But would start %100 of the time if the engine is turned off for at least30 minutes.

For example, I would start my day, start the car for the first time and drive around for 10 minutes before stopping the car and turning the engine off. Would then have problems restarting the car. It would take up to 10 minutes before restarting the car but not smoothly. The start would not crank right & would make a squeeking sound before lights show up in the panel. The car would eventually restart, with the engine light indicator on & reset my KM trip. The engine light would eventually go away after the car is rested for a couple of hours.

Jaguar (MCL) service advisors changed the battery & even reprogrammed the key fob. They advised my that it's most like the key & would need a new key & some new reprogramming.

My question is for others out there who had a similar situation?? Any input would be great!! Just curious
