Engine stutters under load with fault codes: P0174, P1549, P0171, P1000
P0174- bank 2 running too lean
P1549- IMT valve failure???
P0171- bank 1 running too lean
P1000
So my check engine light is back on in my 2005 3.0 X-type and has revealed all of the above codes, with P1549 being a new one to me. I've previously attempted to address the others for the engine running too lean. My Jaguar specialist mechanic and I previously suspected a vacuum leak, but he didn't find one. He replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor and I had him do the Fuel Filter a couple of months ago and that resolved it for a short while. However, the car now hesitates under load such as joining the freeway.
Any help on this is greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Ian

Try changing the two IMT o-rings and see what you have. Simple easy and cheap to do.
That P1549 sounds like it could be a wiring issue or something with the connector. I don't think I have ever seen that code posted here before, so not familiar with what triggers it.
IMT Valve 1 (bottom) disconnected
IMT Valve 1 (bottom) to ECM drive circuit fault
IMT Valve 1 (bottom) power supply circuit fault
IMT Valve 1 (bottom) failure
Not sure which one is Valve 1. Maybe check the wiring/connectors on both.

Thanks Alfadude.
Is the IMT ring the same as:
OES Genuine Intake Manifold Gasket
It looks to be from the following video:
