First off, the x-type exhaust is VERY constrictive due to it's nature. From the 90 degree bend going into the very huge cats then another 90 out of the cats.To get a "true dual" exhaust, which in my opinion they should have done it from the factory, will require you to know a good performance shop. Cost for stainless exhaust custom fitted will set you back about 1200-1500. Well worth it!Excellent performace gains and a truly awesome sound!

If you're looking just for an agressive tone and don't want to spend lots of cash....get the Borla exhaust mufflers. For 500 bucks, you get 2 mufflers (stainless) with a million mile warranty. Easy to install. You'll need a saws-all to cut the old mufflers off.

Approx time, about 1 hr.

Surely there is a place in US near to you that does a custom made exhaust.
I got my Quads made to measure (with alifetime warranty) and had a sliding scale to pick how loud or quiet I wanted the exhaust note to sound.
Cost was around £270 (£295 - £25 discountthey paid towards travelling for fuel)
Its on youtube (type X type or jaguar or quads or buckmr2 or mixture maybe of all those tags)during a rolling road session with some Cosworth Owners club but will put a better sound clip upfrom onthe road soon.
