I was washing my car in the rain the other day and noticed the the front left thing-am-agig that sprays the wipers is loose.I can see there is a white plastic piece broken that holds it .does ant one know if this is a jag specific piece..ie gonna cost me an arm and a leg.or is it a resonable fix..will it take much time to do..I guess i need a part to anyone got a part # for me

 

i had a simlar thing, im from canda and it cost me 135 to have it painted and put back in, the paint for mine was free, and u have to buy the whole assembly, the jet and the cover, they can't sell u just the cover. So yes an arm and a leg, its called the headlamp washer jet cover, the feature is the headlamp washer's.

 

Disco did you use a jag dealer or an alternate shop

 

Not sure, but it sounds like you guys might be talking about two different things. Irish, did you mean the jet on the hood that sprays the windshiled? Disco, I believe are talking about teh headlight washer unit.

 

yes im talking about the headlight washer unit, and yess i looked everywhere else, it comes primered, and u can only get it fromt he dealer as far as i know in my city.

 

Yea its the head light thing...jet is fine but the ëyelid is open a crack".so disco.165 at the dealer?

 

yeah thats what mine was, i just confised the prices, and then im not sure how muvh its going to be to paint for it.
