Default Fake Monroe Shocks for X type

I'm not 100 percent certain but I smell a rat. I purchased two new Monroe reflex shocks for £62or so on Amazon. Really cheap but I thought someone may be trying to offload some stuff that they had bought and never used ..anyway I sent a message asking if these were genuine and got something not answering the question in broken english. My thoughts are that these are Monroe knock offs. Anyone had any experience on how to tell if they are genuine or not?

Also I notice that Jag do genuine replacements for £70 a piece. Are these any good?

Amazon is usually pretty good, but if you can spend just a little more to know for sure they are quality vs some knock off from who knows where why wouldn't you spend the little extra.

I am still waiting for them to arrive but will post a photo up when they do. There was a huge difference in price and you are right in saying why chance it. I have ordered jaguar original shock as it is not something I want to take a chance with. If they are genuine, then all brilliant, I will sell them on but I will await and see.
