queenvir23, the fan can run for a few different reasons, even when the motor is ice cold. To see if you really have a problem or not, let the car sit for a few hours to ensure the motor is cold. Next, get into the driver's seat. Turn the ignition of the car to the RUN position (DO NOT start the car). Let the heat-A/C unit come on and then turn it off/ensure it is off. Now, start the car. Open the hood and see if the fans are running now. They should not be. If they are, then most likely you have a bad fan module and it will need to be replaced.
Odds are, what you are experiencing is that you have the defroster running. The defroster uses the A/C system to remove the moisture from the air, to make clearing of the windshield faster and more efficient. When the A/C system runs, the car will run the fans relative to how much cooling is needed (little A/C need, fans run slowly, lots of A/C needed, fans run in fast).
