I got my car back from jagday and when i pull up the diagnostics on the Nav screen there is a fault code 58-20. The fault code time and date shows that it happened after jag closed last night. Does anyone know what that code is?

50 Communication failure between control module and display unit at startup.
51 Communication failure between control module and display unit during operation.
52 Communication failure between control module and display unit during operation.
61 Control module ROM failure. Checksum error during start up.
62 Control module RAM failure. Read/write error during start up.
71 Backlight lamp failure during operation.
74 Backlight lamp overcurrent.
75 Video power supply failure.
76 Display unit over temperature.
79 Teletext failure (when fitted)
91 Soft switch malfunction.
92 Soft switch malfunction.
C1 Communication failure between synchronised signals.

 

I just checked it and it says (01) 58-20 under diagnostic error codes

 

May not be anything to worry about if all is working well.

 

Yeah everything is fine (I think), So I guess your right. I was just curious about what the code was because there is one in there from sometime in 2006 too and I'm thinking it has something to do with the vehicle inertia switch.

 

nav will only give you telematics codes.. no powertrain codes.
