Default Find me some rims!!!!!!!!!!

I am looking to purchase rims for my Jaguar X-type its an 04 and I think the bolt pattern is 5X108. The offset I think is 45 and its 17X7.5 that I am looking for. I am looking more into silver rims or verynice rims. If anyone finds any please send me an e-mail I am looking to spend no more than $900 w/o tires. I like these ones too. http://www.hookupshop.com/rims/adr/A...ASAI%20rim.htm

i have 18 x 8's with 38mm offset, same specs as those on your link. they are fine as long as you dont have backseat passengers often, which i do not. they really change the stance of the car if you're going for sporty driving then i really recommend them. They rub on hard bumps, so roll your fronts fenders (about 100bucks or you can do it yourself) and just suck it up for the backs b/c you cant roll them. Dont know about the 17x7's though, im guessing you'll be be fine though as they are an inch more narrow.

if you go for the 18's, i recommend you go 215/40/18 which is 10mm thinner than stock, to avoid the rubbs, but as long as you roll the front fenders you wont really be damaging the tires, as the backs only rub the plastic wheel well, not the actual fender

But yea, those look hot. hope i was of some assistance

Somekidzenvy for the 17's what are the offset? Will these ones fit, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...AQ:MOTORS:1123, also are the 17's supposed to be 17x7 or 17x7.5? Will these rims fit cause the ebay seller said they will fit my car.

yea they'll fit, but 7" looks skinny and cheap, even on a civic, let alone an x-type.

Yeah stick with at least 7.5's...I know a guy that's selling some 18's...I can get them from him for $800 if you want em? He used them for 3 months and had to sell his jag because his wife couldn't drive stick and they had just gotten married...they come with tires...

I don't know about those specific ones, but I know that Kumho makes nice tires, so that's a good deal.

So I have the stock rims and tires as you saw in my photots its the 17 inch rims are they 17x7.5 or 17x8, what does the offset have to be for me to be able to buy rims, 17x7.5 or 17x8 also I believe I saw in a book the offset has to be between 35-45mm?
