Default Floppy headlights!

Today I was going to replace the front left(driver side) parking light. I opened the headlight case and reached in. To my surprise the panel that all the lamps are attached to just flops around inside the casing. Is there a fix or am I looking at a replacement headlamp fixture?

Most likely if you look around inside you will find the plastic adjusters are broken. Here is a link to a repair kit for both lights.

You can go onto you tube for a video for repairing the lights. Unfortunately to overhaul the lights you need to remove the front bumper cover to remove the lights.

We can help you out with advice for that also.

Upon replacing the 2825 Daytime Running Light bulbs today, I noticed the same thing. The reflective piece, that holds the bulbs in place, is loose and flopping around inside the passenger side head light.

I have a 2002 with the HID variant. I had to go thru the entire rebuild of the lights. At first i thought bumper cover removal and all would be a daunting task. It was relatively straight forward. The only hang up I had was trying to disconnect the plug for the fog lights.
Everything went well and the kit fit perfect. Let me know if you would like further info. Send me a PM and i will send my email address.
