2002 jaguar x type 3.0

Ok one night I was going to domino's and I smelled a burning smell. 5 seconds after that my engine light started to flash and I pulled over and heard my engine like knocking sound. So I turned off the car and had it towed to my house. I got it home and I ran it to find out the problem, the sound is still there and then the car stops running. So I take the valves covers off to look at them. When I get to the back cover to take out the spark plugs there is a melted ignition coil so I removed that and all six spark plugs and replaced them along with new valve cover gaskets and new coil. Now I got all the stuff put back together and the car still will no run. Also it cranks over but do not start.*
