getting closer towards winter and was wondering if anyone has the fluid specs for coolant and brake fluids, was going to change these before the snow flies, thanks, Bill 02 sport

 

I use Jaguar Anti-freeze and Brake fluid..

50/50 mix with distilled water brings the freezing point down to -40 F

A DOT 4 Brake fluid is recommened.


It is NOT the same as Dex-Cool

 

thanks Dennis, would you know the amounts for each, I'm sure the brakes are to the fill line on the reservoir, but what's the spec for antifreeze,please. Thanks,Bill

 

It took me2.5 bottles to completely purge my Brake system..

One Gallon of the Anti-freeze concentrate mixed 50/50 with distelled water..I drained the system completely or at least all I could get out and refilled witrh fresh coolant. I had about a half a gallon left over when I was done.
