Default Front Grill Alternatives??

I have been wanting to change the front grill for a while now but are there any alternatives than the mesh? It seems like everybody gets the mesh inserts or full mesh grill but are there any other options out there that somebody found or made themselves to set their car apart from the rest?

The grill openings are small enough that if you find something you like from another car, you cut the center section out and make a one-off grille. I have done this in the past on my old Mercedes and Volvo cars. Hell, I may just do it again on the X to *******ize it a bit more for the purists on here.

Would white mesh look good on my white car? Or stick to the polished steel?

It might look good. I've seen it on bmw a time or two. 02 sport models have a bar type grill that looks like it will mount in the mesh area

I ended up going with the Stainless Steel Mesh Insert from Mina. It took around an hour and it was trickier than i expected but well worth it.

Car looks good. I think the mesh looks very nice. I asked Santa for the upper and lower mesh, we'll see if I was a good enough guy this year to deserve it. Can I ask what you used to cut the veins out of your old grill?

Yeah, I used a tool called the Roto Zip. It was very easy to cut and I had good control. It even cuts it down so little sanding is needed.
