front overhead light dome unit

front overhead light dome unit
I have a 2006 jaguar type x...i replaced the overhead dome light assembly...because my courtesy light did not go on when i opened the door,,,the back one did though.
And now...i still have the same problem. The reading lights on either side work manually as they should...but the center courtesy light does not work.
Does anyone have any ideas how to correct this?
I even changed the center bulb...becuase i thought that was the problem.
What is strange is that now when i manually switch the reading lights on both at the same time....the center courtesy light is
lit...and i have to turn off the reading lights manually of course...and the courtesy light shuts off at the same time.
