Fuel Pumping (Again)

Fuel Pumping (Again)
Hi All,
I've been through a few weeks of misery with my 05 x-Type wagon. Before inspection the check engine light came on for a small evap leak. I changed the gas cap and then the vapor canister solenoid (C2S8605) and reset the codes.
Check engine light came on again with the same code and another mechanic changed the charcoal filter and gas filler neck (which I think was a TSB) and the codes were reset and haven't come back in about a month.
When I put gas in the car the pump clicks like it's full and it takes a while to fill because you can only depress the trigger about 1/4 inch. Is there anything else that I can look at or change to cut down my time at the pump?
Would changing the purge control valve (C2G2403) help?
Thanks for any help - I'm at a loss...
