Question G15 ground point location?

Does anyone know how to get to the G15 - LH 'A' Post, Lower ground point? It says it is near the mirror/A post but how do I get to it? This is the ground point for the TCM so I would like to inspect it. Thanks.

It looks like you would have to remove the inside door panel, with the window up, but before I would rip the door apart, I would check where the wires bend, between the door, and the body. That is where the fatigue point would be for the wires. Never had to look for it on my 07, but I don't have near as many miles and door closings as you do, I would presume. Check all the wires, once you get in there......Be cool.....Mike

Thanks Mike, I will try to get to it this weekend. Are you sure it is on the door? It says A pillar so I would have to think it is on the body, not the door.

Look on the A pillar first. I said that, just because I have seen a lot of wire failures, due to fatigue in that rubber sleeve, between the body and the door. It may even be under the hood. Those crafty British....Good Luck.....Mike
