Has anyone had their gauge cluster or rebuilt by an online vendor? Prices seem to range from $ 85.00 to $ 275.00 and I need a recommendation for someone that's reliable and reasonably fast in that price range. I tried to find someone local to do it (Philadelphia, PA area), but they don't have the equipment (including the dealer!) or expertise to work on Jaguar instruments.

I was diagnosing code P1638 step by step and found that instrument cluster is bad.
Step G195523t35 (from ALLDATA)
Resistance is checked between data link connector pin 6 and 14 (yellow and green wires)
If resistance is between 50 and 70 Ohms, cluster is bad."

These guys are supposed to be pretty good. There's another one in AZ and one in CA. The best one I've heard about is a chain owned by a guy who is a consultant to many manufacturers on secuity past, present and future. But he/they are in Ireland.
