gear box fault

gear box fault

2002 x type -message warning. recieved the following message warning "gear box fault"
I am unalbe to find that message in my owners manual.
Could anyone please shed some light on what that warning is telling me?

Im no mechanic, but that doesnt sound good. Do a search here, there should be some threads
referring to that. One of the experts should be by to help. Did you pull the codes? Theyll probably
ask you about those. Also, check this one out, it may help.
