The code means "Variable Valve Timing Solenoid A Circuit"
Anyone know anything about it?
After the drive to work this morning... the check engine light is still off..

Could be a coincidence or a fluke..but it surely has nothing to do with changing the tranny lube..good job on that BTW..So it shifts better now?

It feels smoother in most of the gears.. First is a little notchier.. and now when i shift to second it squeeks. Lol.. Sounds like its time to use some Wd40 somewhere.

So I shouldn't worry about the check engine light coming on?

Is it in the shifterlinkage?..try removing the wood surround around the stick shift(just snaps on)and put some spray lube in there..don't use WD40, it eats some plastics.

Oh ok..
its actually a leather boot around the shifter.
The noise sounds like its from under the car where the transmission is though..

Then it maybe some of the linkage pivot points..just spray the heck out of all the shifter linkage underneath.
