OK, not to worry. We'll help. First of all please give us more info on your car, such as transmission type, miles, maintenance history (i.e., don't have a clue to I know everything that's been done to it, or in between). To start off with, what's the coolant level in the expansion tank, and when's the last time coolant was serviced? If you don't know what the expansion tank is, take a look at my picture. Expansion tank is the container on driver's side of engine bay. You can see level through the tank. What do you see here?

Expansion tank is on lower right corner - opaque container with black top.

There is a little fan inside the car that keeps running on - by design - for some time after you turn the engine off.

This is normal.
