Hi, I saw another thread on this, and when I went to check the check valve on my daughter's X-type, there was no check valve. Someone had put a straight piece of tubing where the valve should be. She's had the car for 2 1/2 years and the stalling and hard pedal just showed up. So I'm wondering if it could be a bad booster or just need to get a hose with the check vavle in it?

 

I would start out with the check valve. You may get another two and a half years out of her. I always go the simplest or cheapest first, if it makes sense. It has worked out well for me......good luck....Mike
