RE: headlight adj
i don't know if i will be able to sleep tonight... I have been going at it with jag as you know in regaurds to my rust issue. I talked to them today and I think we found a fix for the problem. I was not going to say anything about yet until it is done just to make sure nothing gets screwed up. I was going to write the long story in my "rust already" post when it is all said and done. I have a weird question and I know it is odd to ask it on this forum but i feel you guys are honest and more of buddys then fellow posters so...... if you had a choice, what car would you get and why? Jaguar X-Type, BMW 3, or Benz c-class. I know what most people are going to say already because this is a Jaguar site. but i have been thinking about it all night. I love the X-Type. you guys know that but, think about it... if someone came to you tomorrow and said "give me your car and i will give you a c-class or a 3 series." what would you do? stick with the jag??? I know the outside of the jag is the best looking around but that aside, what would you do?

No I was asking about the other.
It would all depend on the situation. If they are willing to trade you into another vehicle, I would probably take whatever value they were offering and trade into an STR. Thats just me.
PM me with what exacly they are doing - as far as the check etc you mentioned above.

RE: headlight adj
I got the Jag for very specific reasons...
All wheel drive and stick shift ... smallish sedan.
I wanted HANDLING... not good, but GREAT winter handling.
I dont know what the worst part of the Jag is.. but for sure it is a financial issue.. repairs, depreciation etc.. (not withstanding the jag was cheap as aused car)
If I was offered another car in exchange, I would firstly make sure it met the AWD stick shift criteria.
Both the BMW and Benz will be easier on your wallet.. especially if you dont have to shell out any more upfront cash.
I do like the new benz c class awd.. it does look great to me. The bimmer will be the best awd for handling.
But the Jag is a decent car. with a little style too..
