Hi
I asking this for a friend who has an X Type and was talking to me at our local club meeting tonight.
He removed the rear headrests and reinserted one back to front before realising
He tried to press the release clip and lift it out but its stuck solid.
I said I would probably try and force it out but he says he has tried this and it just wont budge.
Any ideas?

 

Found out there are 2 clips holding the headrest in place and one is easily to miss (needs a coin to depress it) as per Fig 9
Hopefully this is what he has missed

I'll email this pic to him but if its not this any ideas how to remove?

 

It was the "hidden" release clip that was the cause!
