03 x type 2.5L automatic. When i start it the heads up display reads "engine failure" and then "transmission failure". the engine begins to idle very high and pressing the accelerator has no barely any effect. One guy i asked suggested that it might be a shot o2 sensor but the shop i took it to said its gonna be a $2000 fix. If any one has any ideas, they would be much appreciated before i spend 2 grand. thanks
