Hi I'm a newby to this forum,

I have a lovely top spec 2008 2.2 turbo diesel estate (UK right hand drive) less than 60K miles on it, however in the last week the aircon pump siezed and took out the belt and damaged a couple of pulleys.

The car is with a local garage who are saying on OEM air con compressor is €900 + VAT.

Wondering does anyone on this site know who actually made the pump for jaguar and what the part number is for a suitable replacement pump?

Check eBay. They have reconditioned compressors for around $120 (US)

 

SNG Barrat has OEM and aftermarket compressors for sale in the US and UK. Aftermarket part is about 1/3rd the cost of OEM.
