Default HELP! drive shaft support bearing etc

I really need help here. I was told I could find a support bearing for my 02 x type 3.0 from a guy here. But everytime I search nothing comes up. I even called the dealership for the bearing they told me they only sell the whole drive shaft together for 650 bucks....does anyopne know where I can find the bearing or a used driveshaft....

eric...i tried replacing the bearing but it is encased in molded rubber so it is not feasable...yes, it has been done, but i doubt the ride quality is good.
i tried the used part route, but the used one felt worse than the one i replaced.
i opted for a new one from coventry west, i forget the price, but it was under 650

Also its the bearing in the rear of driveshaft. I trid to wiggle and it wiggles. Theirs a little bit of play in it and when driving I can feel a vibration but it goes away and it comes from rear so definitly is the back just seeing from how the bearing is incased I probably will just buy a new driveshaft I will buy a used one first seeing as imn a studennt and hard to afford a 600 part..

Eric, here's what I would recommend. If you are a student and you have access to a shop with a press, you don't have to buy a whole new driveshaft. All you do is buy the bearing, and remove your driveshaft. Once it's off, you press the old bearing off and press the new one on. Any small shop could also do this for you if you bring them the driveshaft and both bearings (muffler shop seems to be the cheapest.) That's the exact procedure I've heard a lot of other members following and they only spent around $200 for everything. I was going to do this myself, but my tuition came due and mine only makes noise in the cold.

Eric, I had the same problem. The center bearing was shot. Try Suburban drive train in villa park, IL 630-941-7101.
