Help with fusebox problem

Welcome to the forum aladdin sane,
Is this the Engine Compartment Fuse Box or the Passenger Compartment Fuse Box?
I don't recognise the number you quote as a Jaguar Part Number. The Parts Catalogue lists a lot of different P/N's depending on VIN and engine type. They may be interchangeable but it's more likely they have been redesigned as the model developed throughout the production years.
When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

aladdin sane, welcome to the Forums. I think you will like it here.
As for your fuse box problem, please keep in mind that there are a few different fuse box variations based on how the car is outfitted. So, you can try going to a wrecking yard and seeing if you can get a fuse box through them. You would be looking for a fuse box from a 04-09 X-Type (be careful of the 04's as there was a mid year change over of the electrical system so there will be compatibility issues if you get a car that was manufactured on/before March 2004). I am basing this on the fact that your part number starts with 4x43 as this is a trademark indication that you have a car from after the upgrade period.
The other option is to look on e-bay and see what you can find there. May require writing to a few sellers and seeing what they can do for you. Replacing the fuse box will be pretty straight forward as there are a series of plugs on the fuse box and all you have to do is to make sure you get the correct plugs back in the correct holes. On your car, you are looking at 10 plugs as I recall.
