Unhappy Help! I have the transmission fault Light

Hello i recently had my 2002 jaguar xtype 3.0
and the transmission fault light showed up on the dash board.
i did however notice that it started messing up,
the transmission isn't going over second. it takes 1st, 2nd, and after that i accelerate and noting. I thought it was the transmission so i had it replaced which cost me a penny out of my pocket and nothing same thing is happening.
i ran the obd reader and its picking up p0733, p0734, p0778, p1647, p1000
if anyone has had this problem before and could help me that would be great.

hi is it like an orange cog that appears on your dashboard.
if this is the case then you have major gearbox problems , mine was the same three years ago and i had to have a new torque converter and the bands done.

I looked over the info you provided. Thanks for posting the codes, it is always the first thing everyone needs to help trouble shoot. So here is what you have. I have also attached a copy of the codes for you to take to have it fixed or if you want to do it yourself.
1. Code P0733 is a 3rd gear ratio error, If solenoid DTC is flagged fix it first
2. Code P0734 is a 4th gear ratio error, If solenoid DTC is flagged fix it first.
3. Code P0779 is the solenoid DTC flag and more than likely where your problems are. They were also probably the same problems you had with the other transmission. There is an open circuit/ground in the plug or wiring for the 2/4 pressure. Since the new transmission worked for awhile before exhibiting the same problem i would tend to think that there is damage to the wiring going into the solenoid connector or the transmission control module (TCM).
4. Code P1647 is a bad oxygen sensor on bank 2. Is the upstream sensor on the exhaust manifold.
I hope the information is helpful.
