Default Help! Kitty running rough and I am 50 miles from home

Went to dinner and she started idling rough as well as popping the engine light. Swung by Autozone and they pulled
P0300
P0301
P0302
P0303
P0304
P0305
P0306
P1316
and
P1111

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Trying to figure out if I should drive it home or get a rental.

04Sport, you are getting misfires on all cylinders and getting excessive emissions on one of the banks. So, driving it the 50 miles home is probably not the best idea. This is more than likely going to cause more damage than good. With this being said, I would start with replacing the fuse (f10 in the engine bay fuse box for the later 04 cars, fuse F92 in the earlier 04 cars). I would then look at the common ground point on the engine block near the passenger side head light and make sure that is tight.

If you are still having issues, then this is something beyond what most people can fix on the side of the road.

Just opened hood and it is hissing like mad. What is this hose and could this be the problem?

Is this ground point easy to locate? I can recognize the fuse recommendation but still unsure where the ground is located to be possibly loose. Thanks!

Could this cause it?

Hose tore and is hissing like crazy

Electrician's tape may be a temporary best find here.

Default Duct tape to the rescue!!!

Well about 20 circles of duct tape later the car is running like it has for the last 62000 miles.......perfect.

I once had a radiator hose pop open on a trip, so I taped it neatly with electrician's tape, which I just happened to have in the glovebox.

Drove the car another year and a half without a leak before selling the car (I used to have almost no money, so didn't replace the hose)

Hard to believe there are still some of those smooth hoses out there. Would have thought by now all of them would have been replaced. Usually they split on the underside and cause a vacuum leak. Get a new one. They are cheap and easy to fix. The newer ones are ribbed and much more robust. Glad it was something simple.

That's exactly what this one did. It slit about 3 inches on bottom. I am elated it was this simple. Right now duct tape has corrected the issue until the new hose and pcv arrive. I figured I may as well do them both

Nice! If everything would be that simple and cheap to fix!
