Default help needed regarding timing & crank shaft sensor target disk

my 2 lit. V6 wont start after changing head gasket.
with crankshaft sensor unplugged it starts. New sensor did not solve the problem. I have checked both sensors and resistance is ok.

now its time for finding the thing that went wrong. motor is out and i cant find any.
- the time chain seems to be ok
- the crankshaft sensor target disk has two possible sets to be mounted. Has anybody something to say about it?
