Thanks for taking time, im in trouble, i have an X type 2.0d sports, 56 plate i believe a Euro4, 1st Jaguar and really do like so i hope i dont get dis-heartened. Engine managemnt light activated couple of wks ago, had the fault codes p0105 & P0235, both relating to the map circuit, i understand the sensor relating to waste gases and feeds back an electronic signal for boost, the garage i 1st went said new turbo £700.00, can i do other checks 1st , no obvious leakages to report, is it the sensor?, or is the EGV linked? i have read about cleaning the sensor, EGV, sealing the vacuum hose etc, need direction if possible, thanks
