Default xenon bulb

Looking for new xenon bulbs I don't know if I have the factory hids but I want to know what bulbs can I buy without getting a hid kit? Looking for a blueish white color.

amgeater, well, first, do you have an HID system in your car (if you haven't added an aftermarket system, there should be a sticker in your driver's door jam near the bottom front corner stating that you have HIDs installed. With the assumption that you have HIDs installed, you want to be looking for "D2S" bulbs. That is the bulb style in our cars. Fairly common, so, there are lots of options out there. Next, you need to be looking for "35W" (thirty five watt) bulbs. You will find bulbs in many power ratings (normally 35W, 50W, and sometimes even 80W). Do not go with higher wattage bulbs as you will trash the ballasts in a heartbeat and it will be an expensive repair for you. Finally, the factory bulbs are normally 4300K. Those leave you with a slight yellow halo to the light. Since you are after the slightly blue looking, you want to go after 6000K bulbs. If you can find them, you can also go with 5000K bulbs, which will give you an all white look. Going with 8000K or higher bulbs will result in probably more blue/purple coloring than you are wanting.

If you have any more questions, just ask.
