Default help please i have the p0743 code

i had the p0057 before that means bank 2 sensor 2(downstream ) and i replaced that now i have this codes P0743 and p1000 why did get those codes after ?

i just foud this cables under the intake they look like the had to much heat do they are causing the problem?

you have bare wires there, and one of your coils is not plugged in.

P0743 is Torque Converter Clutch Circuit.

How long have you had the car?

How long have you had the car?
Do you think the bare wires have to do with the code readings? yes the coil plugs were disconneted on purpose when i was examining the wires. Now that i touched the wires i ran into another problem which is now the car wont start! it cranks over but no ignition/spark.

Alex: The insulation on those bare coil wires has been cooked, literally, likely by an overly hot catalytic converter directly below (between the engine and radiator). Those bare wires probably touched and shorted out one of more fuses.

Don't replace the blown fuse(s) until you replace or repair the bad wires. The new fuse will just short out again.

Before repairing the bare wires, look around and above both catalytic converters for more heat damage. The other catalytic converter is between the engine and firewall. It may be best to replace the entire engine wiring harness. Recycler's sell them on eBay, or PM a forum member named Dr dome, who parts out X-Types.

Before you invest too much time and $'s, consider that the overly hot catalytic converter may be damaged internally and need to replaced, and whatever caused the converter to overheat may still be a problem to be fixed.

i will chek them after work , yeah I recently replaced 3 o2 sensors so that probably was causing problems but i just got this car like 2 weeks ago , and do u this this wires have something to do with the P0743 I didn't have this code before i just had the 02 sensor codes and after i replaced the o2 sensors , that cod pop out idk why , and thanks againg guy for replying !!

my car won't start after i replace the cables I don't have any blow fuses i think i did a chort circuit and fry the ecm bc i dond have fuel I don't have spark on the coils so i will chek that !

is a brand new battery and i replace this cables the are under the air intake !! i think i did a short circuit ! when I move them !

and now won't start my fuel pump is dead I don't have spark on the coils i did the reset of the inierta switch but idk if I'm doing it wrong !
