I have a 2003 jag X-Type and my reverse lights are not working. Fuse is fine can someone tell me where the relay is? Auto transmission

Check transmitter in gear box.

If rear parking sensors work, it's not likely to be this item.

 

Hi Rebecca.

Probably the switch on the gearbox, they are known for their unreliability. Very easy to change and get to, just under the battery box.

The relay is R17 in the glove box fuse panel. On the left hand side of the panel are three relays in a vertical arrangement. R17 is the centre one. Fuse is F79, 10A.
Note that with the auto box there is no direct switch on the box for the reverse lights. The relay is fed from the instrument panel.

 

Hi Rebecca, mine were out the other day on one of my 20003's. Fortunately, it was just the bulbs. I wish you the best.
