Hi there as a newbie I come carrying problems (as do 90% of the new members I guess)

Well here is mine:

Just bought the car and I noticed a quiet humming from the area of the centre console when I get into the car (no ignition on) I thought it may be something as I had unlocked the car so I sat in the car no ignition and doors locked, still humming !!!! any ideas guys???

we all have this noise. It's a little fan that blows on the climate control temp sensor. Just ignore it.

Welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy your new ride.

As mentioned, it sounds like it is that temperature sensor fan. If you do a search on here for it I'm sure you will find a lot about it and what you might be able to do to quiet it down.

Welcome to the forum mate!

You should stop by our New Member Area and introduce yourself.

Also have a look in our Europe Regional Section there are a number of members in Belgium.

Yes the sound you hear is a little fan that blows air over the temperature & humidity sensor in the dash, they all do that....
