Hi to one and all

Thinking of updating my sat nav disk to the 2011/12 as below:-

JAGUAR SATELLITE NAVIGATION SAT NAV DVD DISC 2011-2012
Jaguar Navigation Disc for UK & IRELAND Western Europe 2011-2012

PART NO - 43-10E898-AP

My question - is there a set procedure for updating, do you just replace the disk, or does the ignition need to be on etc - bit scared in case I fry the system.

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated - the disk is I am looking at purchasing is from 2011 - 2012 SAT NAV NAVIGATION DISCS and for the price quoted am a bit hesitant considering how much Jaguar UK want for it!!

 

Could not be easier. Turn the ignition on. Hit the button on the DVD player in the boot to remove the old disc. Insert the new disc. Takes about 10 mins - Leave the ignition on while its loading. Job done.
