how do you like the jaguar select warranty???

I just got my car and it has it- Anyone else have it that they could comment- if its worth anything or a pile of beans??


when I called the dealer about the sunroof they said that5 they might have to reprogram the sunroof and that is not covered.

it has been great for me, only thing I have paid for is a computer reflash

the features I really like, is that they have to diagnose any problem and give you a loaner (or rental) at no charge

my cat is going back in for some rear suspension work that I am fearing will not be covered, but every thing else has been covered except above

 

Pretty good here too. In and out in one day for a telescoping steering wheel problem, in which the replaced the entire upper steering column on good 'ol Select. Haven't gotten a loaner yet, but was told if the repair lasted for more than a day, I would be entitled to one.

My recommendation is to get in pretty good with your service consultant before having to 'claim' any work. Once you have a relationship with him/her, it makes discussing (and getting repairs covered under) the Select Edition warranty.
