Default How to get your radio to work after disconnecting battery
Heres a one for the FAQ section
If you have disconnected the battery,fitted a new battery or cant find the code for your radio try this....
Press Fast Forward, A.Mem and PTY together and your radio should now work.

Thanks Buck. Is that info from personal knowledge ie. have you done it? If so, that's a definite sticky. We'll all need it eventually.

I know its worked for a number of people, unfortunately I didnt know about it when I could have done with it when I had my X type.
Works on S Types and X350 models too

Holy Crap!!! Bless you, BuckMR2--it all came right back, and I didn't have to wait nor disconnect the battery again. (Had too much stuff in the trunk to take out and get to the battery!) Great suggestion for S-Type owners, it REALLY worked!! We owe you, big time!
