How to Lower your car the right way - Don't use Eibach!
Ok guys who want to consider lowering their X-type car with Eibach springs.
DO NOT DO IT!!!! YOU WILL BE PISSSED!!!
Eibach are liars their springs have not been tested on a Jaguar X-type so I'll give you he run down that the rear springs will drop your car. But the fronts don’t drop at all!!!
I waited a month now to see if it settled in (Eibach says its cold-forged no settling!!) and it hasn’t moved at all.
Unless you want it high in front and slammed in back go for it!
I 've had 3 mechanics and a Dealership mechanic look it over and they say installation is fine the spring is either wrong or it doesn’t lower your car.

I'd agree they likely don't test the springs on the X-Type.
However, I'd bet what happened to you was most likely a manufacturer error where they may have mismarked the front and rear springs. They would just tell you to check the part number but if they labeled them incorrectly then it wouldn't make a difference.
Arden tests all their products on X-Types you might want to look into those. K&W is probably the same as Eibach in the sense that it probably isn't tested.
