Default How to remove rear door panel - speaker not working

Anyone remove the rear door panel? Is it just a few screws and then pull gently to release the push pins? Any tips?

Anyone have their speaker not work - what was it.

Thanks!!!

Normally if a speaker doesnt work, it is the speaker. To remove rear door panel on XType, look inside the door pull. You will see a blanking cover. Pop it off with a fine point instrument so as not to damage the door panel. Remove the phillips head screw behind it. Then at the bottom center of the door panel, there is another phillips head screw. Remove that. Then Kung Fu grip the top outer edge of the door panel and yank it straight toward you. Some of the clips may break so get some replacements prior to pulling the panel. Remove the door handle cable from door panel and off you go. Install is reverse of removal.
Front panels come off the same way except there is two phillips head screws on bottom of door panel.

If you have Select edition, they should cover everything with audio system. Head Unit, Amp, speakers. Take it in and get it done. Don't even take the panel off. Just get it done.
