Yesterday I parked my X to S-type. I noticed very close design of X and S and that S-type is not bigger than X. Maybe just a little. I'll check specs.
1 inch wider, 6 inches longer.

My introduction into Jaguar was a 2000 s type 3.0l. In my experience I would say the s type is a much larger feeling vehicle whether it's not much bigger or not. I loved that car though and I actually wouldn't mind getting another but I'd go for 04' or newer with the 4.2l. Hmmmmmm. Anyone interested in the X type?

Hey X-TypeMentality - I just noticed that had the General GMax tires on your car - how do you like them?

From the Tire Rack test results - they look like they would rock in the wet and the snow.

My Conti Extremes that came with the car need replacing before winter so ...

I love the tires. They grip extremely well in every type of weather so far. I even pushed em' through this last terrible Michigan winter haha never even got close to getting stuck. But yes, as the reviews show, these tires really shine in the wet. It seems like they extract water extremely well. They are definitely a recommendable fair priced all season tire. I actually just reviewed them on tirerack a few days ago lol. I also noticed at that time that they are only like $117 a tire right now! That's crazy cheap for this tire. The tread pattern is pretty aggressive for a performance all season too and several people have commented on it. Overall, I would by these tires again. I've got like maybe 7000 miles on them but they are wearing very well. I did get the wheel and tire package from tirerack, by the way.
