How much should I ask for them?

anyone on here want them?
They are the 17" sport ones that came with the 2002 x-type sport.
I put new bf goodrich super sports about 2 months ago from big O tires and I paid $660 and they have certificates for replacements if anything happens to them!

I want to paint the roof of my car black to make it look like a panoramic roof so I wanted to cover the cost by selling the rims and tires.
maybe 700-800?

 

I think for those shnazzy rims with 2month old tires, your asking price of $700-800 is pretty reasonable. Unless you've rashed them up from curb hopping...eh?

 

Theres a few scratches on there.. but I didn't do it!

Loved those rims rosemont.......same as I had on my x type sport too

Get them cleaned up real good and take plenty of good close up pics and put an add in the for sale section here. Check out Ebay too. Don't you guys have things like craigslist etc etc....isn't that for rims as well as cars?
As for the price you're talkin in dollars and not sure what the goin rate would be over there. If you got fairly new tyres you should get a decent price but I'd say don't expect to get your money back on the 2nd hand rubber[&:]

When I buy something, I want everything original so I can do everything to it myself.
I might not even paint my roof though if I sell the rims.
In a bit of a squeeze for cash at the moment.
lol.

I should just wait it out but If I can get a quick sale on the rims... my other half won't let me pass it up.

 

Hey Rosemont, I bought a set of ( as new ) rims with only 30 miles on them c/w brand new Continental Contact Sport 2 225 x 50 x R17 94Y for my A6 some time ago. The tyres alone were over £600 for the set of 4 and new rims from the dealer were selling at £450 each...a total of apprx £2850 or $4239.00
I had them delivered to my door for £430 or $639.00

The exact same set as per the link below with very little wear on them just sold for £330.00 or $491.00 if that gives you some sort of an idea.
