Hey Mods, Im looking for a post of a guy that placed a Lincoln LS engine in a jaguar X-type and he had a few pictures of what he did. Ive been searching this section and i cant seem to find the post here. Did it get taken down? I wanted to ask a few Q's on that project. any help would be great!

yep thats the one! were the heck did you find it? Ive searched all night in the X section and could not find it ,i was thinking this may have been deleted or in another section. but anyway thanks!

Seems like a lot of work for marginal gains... Did you blow your stock motor or something?

 

easy pickens! ive done tons of engine pulls, I was going to ask that dude were did he get that engine from maybe i wana pick one up for that price he payed!! My engine has seen better days, looking for a low miles engine.

Hey Mods that Engine Swap thread/post should work its way in the X-Type section since its a xtype that hes doing the swap to.

 

Lincoln LS engines have to cost probably next to nothing at the junkyard... If you've got the experience to do it yourself a 2.5 to 3.0 would still be a nice upgrade.
