Default i930 icarsoft

Hello, i'm a new member of this forum and i have a xtype estate 2005 2.0 D.
Is there anyone who's got a i930 icarsoft and can tell me if i can make a diag for a faulty parking sensor and a abs sensor ? Someone told me to change every sensor with a new one but i'm not sure of the origin of my problem. Thanks a lot.

If it's loaded with jaguar/range rover software then yes the i930 will scan ABS !
Mine works fine ! Only buy one off a trusted seller .

For the ABS you will need to read the codes for the vehicle. Once you have the codes write them down and post them and we can help sort out your problem. If an ABS sensor is not working the CODE #'s will identify which wheel is not working.
The parking sensors are easier to deal with. With the ignition key in the run position listen to each sensor one at a time. You should here a slight ticking noise from each sensor. That would indicate they are working. If a sensor is silent then it is not working. Before replacing it check the wiring and connector for damage. If all is good then you will need to replace the dead sensor.

The main point is without the codes we are in the dark as far as helping trouble shoot your problems.

the i930 actually tells you witch abs sensor has failed , i.e. LF OR RR!

don't think it reads parking sensors , and it defiantly does not read c.a.t.s suspension .
but reads pretty much every thing else!

If you do a forum search for the scanner by name you will be able to read the comments from the forum members. The unti is supposed to communicate with 22 or so modules. Most report only being able to connect to a dozen or so. Also in the stickies FAQ is a whole debate about scanners for the Jaguar.
+1 on the parking sensors it won't read them. The ear test is all I have ever read/tried for trouble shooting them.

First replace Fuse 69 located in the footwell left side of the car. It powers the sensors. Second check for loose corroded connections and/or broken wires.
As a last resort trace the wires back into the rear of the vehicle and check connections to the Parking Sensor Module. If you have power and the wiring is good then the module has probably gone bad.
Before replacing it I would try one new sensor to insure that the sensors haven't failed.

I've made a second ear test and I can hear noise from every sensors in the front bumper, and I can't ear anything from each sensors in the rear bumper. During this in the the car I can hear a long bip and then nothing, and the light of the button is flashing.

I don't think we speak about the same thing, i spoke about the red light on the button to activate parking sensors on the roof. I've check water in the spare wheel and it is dry.

Hi Ludovic,
I have same problem with my rear parking sensors, when the reverse gear is engaged, a long beep noise is heard and then it stops, also sometimes when moved pass the reverse gear to engage the drive gear, the same long beep is heard then stops. I have checked the wiring and module in the boot and all seem fine. How did you get on with yours?

The long beep and flashing roof light indicates an error somewhere in the sensors/wiring/module!!!

I don't get over it for now? How did you check the wiring? Did you dismantle the rear bumper ?

No i didn't dismantle the bumper, visual checks from the inside boot trim i took out. Also to point out my interior light doesn't blink only the long beep is heard.
